October’s Piggy Events

There’s some very exciting thing’s happening in the coming month. Check out these piggy events and go along if you can!

October 19, 2013 11:00 am to 3:00 pm     Admission: FREE 


Location: 1623 Whitesville Road, Toms River, NJ

Hosted by: Ocean County 4-H in conjunction with Jersey Shore Animal Foundation 
PetOberfest is a fun filled family event with Food, Music, 4-H Animals on display, Pet Games and Contests, Vendors, Pet Photos, Pet Communication and rescues for adoption. This event celebrates the human animal bond while bringing the community together.



October 19, 2013 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm    Admission: $15 adults and children FREE (pre-register and get a free t-shirt)

Location: Tall Cedars Grove: 245 Sawmill Rd., Hamilton, NJ

This event will have vendors, raffles, food, a corn hole, and much more! Stop by to meet some of our adoptable piggies and rescue volunteers!


October 27, 2013 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm Admission: FREE

Location: The Puppy Patch: 1481 US Highway 22 East, Annandale, NJ
Vendors, Food, Music, Pet Adoptions, Pooch Parade and Contests and More!! Stop by to meet some of our adoptable piggies and rescue volunteers!

Also don’t forget that Team Cavy Haven are taking part in Race For The Rescues on November 10th. They are still looking for support and donations, see details at http://www.racefortherescues.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&participantID=2458 to get involved!

It’s also not too late to submit your entry to the ‘What’s My Line?’ competition, hosted by http://www.tlpmarketplace.com, to win autographed copies of the ‘Parsley Pig and Friends books’. Entries must be in by October 31st so don’t delay!!
